StartUp Tech Valley Take Over – November 6, 2019

We started off the month of November strong here at Bull Moose Club! Our team and members from Bull Moose Club had the opportunity to work with the members from Troy Innovation Garage to take over StartUp Tech Valley’s monthly meet up. We heard from five member companies between the two spaces, who each presented in front of a crowd of over a 200 people to give some exciting new pitches and updates to attendees.  large Group gathered for presentation

Gabby Fischer, one of our 30 Club members, presented about her startup “travel and do good” company co-mads. Co-mads develops curated experiences for the modern-day traveler, within the U.S., that focus on local culture and community service. Her ask was simply to book a trip and let her plan it! A portion of the proceeds from her planning go to another member in our Bull Moose Club community, Mission Accomplished Transition Services. A student from their program would go on a community service planned trip somewhere in the US.

We also heard from co-founder of Two Buttons Deep, Taylor Rao, who told us about the startup digital entertainment company that has grown from a small blog to a multichannel media outlet with over 30,000 followers across the Capital Region. Two Buttons Deep’s personality-based content appeals to a specific target market of 25-34-year-olds living in Upstate New York, an audience that many local and traditional media outlets are unable to efficiently or authentically reach.Taylor Rao, holding microphone, giving presentation

We also received an update from Michael Riley, President of  Peak Neuro Group. Peak presented months back about their Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring service, and at the takeover event, Michael provided an update on their expansion and sister company in Canada. His ask? For contacts in the Capital Region to expand into more hospitals in our local area.

It was a pleasure to host this event and have a chance to show off the incredible work that is happening inside of our coworking communities. Wonderful job by all of the presenters!
